Food & drinks are a beverage intended specifically for consumption by humans. Apart from their primary purpose of satisfying appetite, food & drinks also play important roles in our daily life. Common types of food & drinks are hot beverages, coffee, tea, milk, soda, fruit juices, and soft drinks. These beverages vary in taste and nutritional value based on the ingredients. While some beverages may contain no carbohydrates at all, others are high in carbohydrates such as soft drinks and orange juice. Other common ingredients include caffeine, salt, sugar, spices, colorings, flavorings, and even artificial flavors and fragrances. While some foods are high in calories like ice cream and cookies, others are low in calories such as cereals, oatmeal, and pasta.
